Y Cares Program The YMCA attempts to establish reasonable membership and program fees for the service it provides. We realize that certain individuals are not able to utilize our services because of financial hardships they may be incurring. To meet this need, the YMCA has established a Scholarship Assistance Fund.  Those wishing to be considered for a scholarship may request an application at our Member Service Desk.  All applications will be reviewed and applicants notified of a determination. Funds have been made possible through the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, www.ymcastrongkids.org, as well as the support of designated gifts through the United Way.

 

You can help out anywhere but you belong at the YMCA   At the YMCA, your time and talent go a long way. Every hour you spend as a YMCA volunteer translates into the caring attention a child needs to develop values such as sportsmanship, compassion and respect for self and others. You can help develop positive behavior in teens and support families so they can be successful and strong. Volunteers help develop healthier lives for people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and income, as well as a viable community that's a good place to live and work.   As a YMCA volunteer, you can lead a program, serve as a role model for young people or help out in an office or at a special event. No matter how you help, you'll make a big difference as you work with others to create a feeling of connection in your community.   The YMCA needs people like you!
