Camp  Makawakmo


For children completed kindergarten through completed third grade. Camp is held at Seely’s Pond, nestled in the Watchung Reservation. Daily activities include arts and crafts, sports, nature activities, swimming and group games. Once a week, campers will be transported by school bus to field trips such as Liberty Science Center and the beach. Drop-off and pick-up at Terrill Middle School.

Adventure Camp

 

For youth completed fourth and fifth grades. Activities include visits to different parks daily, swimming, sports, field trips. Drop-off and pick-up at Terrill Middle School.

Crossroads


For youth completed sixth, seventh and eighth grades. Crossroads is a high-energy program geared towards the active camper. Daily field trips within and outside New Jersey will include wilderness activities, swimming, hiking and sports. Campers will enjoy one overnight trip each session. Drop-off and pick-up at Terrill Middle School.

Mini Session

This one-week session will be held from August 18 to August 22 at a location to be determined. This program is structured for the working parent/guardian and is available to any camper registered for a minimum of one session. Local outings will be planned. The hours are 7:00am-6:00pm.

Counselor-in Training (CIT) Program

This program is geared toward teens who have completed either 9th or 10th grade. CIT Camp will help develop group dynamics, leadership training, self-esteem and peer relations. New to the program this year will be Wednesday Trip Days to exciting locations such as Bushkill Falls and baseball games!

Session I (June 23-July 18)
Trainings will be offered, including CPR certification, working with children, building lesson plans, and learning games. Teens will then be able to gain hands-on experience with these skills in our camps.

Session II (July 21-August 15)
Additional trainings will be offered in first aid, future camp employment opportunities, leadership and teambuilding and, of course, spending quality time with our camp children.

General Information

All campers must be Full or Basic Members. A $100.00 deposit per session, per child is necessary to hold a place. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable between sessions. Please call the camp office at 908-889-5455 for further information.
