National YMCA swim program is taught in our pool. Each level of the program
includes stroke development and personal safety. It is recommended that new
participants who are unsure of which level is appropriate speak with Tracy Crane at 908-889-8880 for appropriate class level placement.

Make a splash at your next birthday party in the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA pool. The pool can be rented by YMCA members on Saturday evenings from 4:15-5:15 pm with the additional use of a party room to continue the celebration from 5:15-6:00 pm. Church and scout groups sponsored by a member are also welcome. Pool Rental - $270 (maximum of 25 participants). Price includes 2 lifeguards. Are you a 12-15 year old swimmer looking to boost your swimming performance, meet new friends, and have fun in the pool? This week long program covers different aspects of aquatics including stroke instruction, diving, water exercise, water safety & rescue, and water sports. It includes hands-on, in-water training in swim strokes, water games, cardiovascular exercise, and water safety skills. The clinic runs from Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, August 23-27. Swimmers should be able to swim 50 yards of freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke and tread water for 2 minutes. Bring a bagged lunch and water. fastest growing sport in the world!
Classroom, pool and open water training are used to introduce diving
skills in an
easy, step-by-step fashion. Small classes and individual
attention make this program
