YMCA SPLASH

Each year, thousands of people are injured in swiming-related accidents.  In order to help reduce the number of accidents, the YMCA offers SPLASH to promote water safety in the community.  By placing an emphasis on water safety and implementing awareness programs, the YMCA continues to take proactive measures in its goal to prevent drowning and water-related accidents.  Not only is swimmming a safety and survaval skill but it is a great lifelong activity that can help you to maintain overall health and well being.  Increase your child's water safety awareness and swim skills by registering them for four days of basic water safety and skill instruction.  The Learn-to-Swim & Water Safety classes are open to the Community.  This program is free of charge and offers basic swimming skill instruction (floating, treading, entries and exits) and safety.
